So, John asked Jen and I to play background music during this week’s Thanksgiving service. We were talking about this last night, and I told Jen “we need to come up with a name.” (Because I’ve always wanted to be a part of band with a name besides “worship band” or “High School marching band.”) I said “how about ‘I can’t believe it’s not butter!’ in jest. When she repeated back that phrase, I thought she said “I can’t believe it’s not better.” And then we just laughed, because that’s such a great name. (Not that I think when we play people would say to each other “I can’t believe it’s not better!”) But it’s a fun name that really amused me.

NLM is a Stieger band fronted by David Pierce. Very amazing band. Not that they sing/play awesomely, but the message is AMAZING! and VERY STRONG.
I still like “the all-star band”. you guys will always be stars in my eyes.
